Its a little consulation when missing out on a World title, to break a World record by 22 sec & miss by 0.18 from winning & be crashed while leading the 10 Km road points is dissapointing, but Two silver medals, a 4th , 5th & 7th are still O/K, it is the Worlds & racing alone is not easy.

Under the official FIRS CIC regulations at the end of the championships awards are made for the Overall champions, for the skaters,its their best 3 results, so basically gets to be fought out amongst the Worlds best all round skaters, on the track 300T/T & 500 sprinters doing the 1,000 meters & 10,000 & 15,000 distance skaters also doing the 1,000,or at least 1 sprint event. & taking upon number of starters in each event.
