"after 4 years preparing a team good lord"
im a little confused. these seem good results. 2 young brothers 7 and 8, less then .5sec (5 meters) behind current world champion and 9 time world champion. maybe edwin can tell us his best time? If he coaching the skaters go faster? perhaps he has been preparing a team that has better results? I think it easy to criticism, but only one country can win, 9 country must lose. why not criticism other country coaches? Why only Nederlands? I also not understand why always talking on the message board? every person on here know and respect Desley Hill from skating and coaching all her life. Please tell your qualifications, history and experience? Or maybe you have none and only know to be negative, not helping Jan. |

Edwin, I'm confused... but that's nothing new, I am sure I just join a trail of people across the World who are fortunate enough to recognise your
name. Anyone who knows that you have been floating in and out of Holland for the past few years will also know that you appear to have been Dutch while in the
US, American when you inserted yourself into the Dutch scene (You were wearing a Team USA jacket anytime you seemed to be trackside), you were Dutch I think -
when you followed the Netherlands squad to Gros Gerau, then a year later in the Netherlands you were shouting "Viva Colombia" while you stirred up
problems at the track. Now, judging by what you have been posting this past week, you're now French?
I'm only trying to get this straight because I am sure there are plenty of people who would love to know exactly where you are and who you're claiming to be. It is all a bit sad really, because Wesley is a great skater. I bet one day he'd like to have guys to call his teammates. Mick. |

Hi Skaters,
Mens 20,000,Lefevre Controlled, while at the end Guyader, put the last of the Italains Ghererdi out the back & left it to Contin to finish the job. The Dutch, Germans & Italians all tried to control the race & a big Solo effort from Ingmar Berger was to no avail, once the French decided playing games was over. The Wout done it again, with all guns firing off the line he put 0.2 between him & Dugento over the first 100 metes, to capyure the Euro sprint double. Bill |

Question for the experts... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
500m track, Wouter Vs the french team. Wouter is ahead till the last curve, leaves a small gap on the inside, French skater jumps in gives a little push,
Wouter goes out the curve, the entire French team passes him on the last straight.
So I found this to be a very risky move, I might say it would earn him a DQ (being last 100m and so on), but I'm Belgian so maybe not really objective, I'm not there so maybe it looks a lot worse on video??, Benno Tschätzsch, the person in the video and parent of 3 of the best german skaters since ... found it risky as well. Any comments on that?? Offcourse the good people at Skate-tv.de filmed it nicely click here. (play it for a while and you get a pretty good look at the last corner) greets |

I saw the Wouter incident first hand and the push was clearly visible!!!
The entire fan base at the track were for Wouter, but too bad foul play made it! (After passing all French skaters an going into the lead with 1 lap to go) I am sure all skaters and spectators there were for a DQ!!! Edwin... Has anyone ever told you that you are a nuisance? We all understand you hate Desly and I, for my share, have read enough of it. |

Hi Benno: From my perspective it was a blatent foul. It was dirty and I would of had the race rerun without the skater in question ( I think Thomas B ?)
Again this was "my view" on the vidio. On the other hand Barbara Fisher is one of the best and most fair judges I have ever worked with and she
obviously did not see it at this angle. No Judge is perfect and Wouter lost because of a mistake. Cheers Alex

The skater in question was Pelloquin (was Levevre) I think. I think the French skaters knew it to cause I didn't see any of them raise their hands after
crossing the finish line a few seconds later in the video. Well, Wouter took it like a champ and called it "a little bump", while according to you
guys he had very good reasons to call it a foul. Just goes to show he's a true champ! Anyway, thanks for the insight.

Just to show how stupid one can be in his own Mickey Mouse World(s)
Pelloquin wasn't even in there you Dummy: RESULTS EUROS 2008 GERA
Looks like you want to be banged by the boogeyman with his Costa ar$ well you might be the chosen one One for the track: " Why has a belgian always a knife in his car ? -to cut the corner" Tell "the Wout" that, instead of digging pits and cry like a baby; the www.500m-final.Cali.Yankee came true the inside the same way last Worlds in Cali so maybe there needs some tactical fine tunning to be done; but hey that is coaching Again Spruyt a sore loser you are |

Must have misread. Levevre was the one doing the little bump, then.
