You can pick up the number 1 AIC race in Melbourne Australia on the 24th January on the way accross to Timaru, Christchurch nearest International airport & will arrange pick ups to Timaru. In Timaru the home town of the Begg Family Billits for overseas skaters can be arranged, so you get accomodation provided by a local family, at this bveautifull seaside city, with the safest N.Z. open Ocean beach 100 meters from the Bank track & skate facility, on Beautifull Caroline Bay. Get ready for the " ASIANIC INLINE CUP" ACTION IN 2010, its going to be big. Bill

Posts: 1425 (11/04/09 15:33:35) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi Skaters, After attempting to fit in both the N.Z. & Australian Championships Marathons, as events that carried AIC points & skaters could attend both, but Saturday evening the 23rd January in Timaru following the big car race meet at Levels, will be the first AIC & also likely to double as the N.Z. Marathon Champs also. The Australian Marathon Champs in Melbourne on the morning of Sunday the 24th January, will also carry AIC status & points. Cheers Bill

January 2010 ( Christchurch nearest International Airport, transfer Pick up to & from Timaru Available ) So this is the planned proposal. 23rd January Saturday 12 to 4pm, International Practical Coaching Course 23rd January Saturday After 5 pm New Zealand Marathon Championships & doubling as AIC Marathon, Levels Raceway 2.4 km Circuit. 24th January Sunday 9 am to 12 noon, 1 pm to 4 pm International Coaching Course. 25th January Monday 10 am to 12.30 pm & 2pm to 5pm International Coaching Seminar for skaters. ( Also Coaches who want to ) 26th January Tuesday 5.30 pm Stage 1 & 2 Tour of Timaru/South Canterbury Bank Track. A Grade - 300 T/T & 1,500 Meters B Grade - 300 T/T & 1,500 Meters. C Grade - 200 T/T & 500 Meters D Grade - 1 Lap & 2 Laps. 27th January Wednesday 6pm Stage 3 & 4 Road Races Levels, ( or possibility small Town Geraldine or Fairlie to expose the sport ) A Grade 500 Meters & 12,000 meters. B Grade 500 meters & 7,200 Meters C Grade 300 Meters & 2,400 meters D Grade 200 Meters & 500 Meters. 28th January Thursday 5.30 pm Bank Track Stages 5 & 6 A Grade 1,000 & 5,000 Steeplechase /Obstacle , ( Famous stage relived ) B Grade 1,000 & 3,000 Steeplechase / Obstacle. C Grade 1,000 & 1,500 Obstacle race D Grade 500 Meters & 1,000 Obstacle race. 29th January Friday Rest Day for skaters 30th January Saturday Waimate ( In conjunction with combined sports Carnival ) 400 meter smooth Bitumen Cycle track. races will start at 10 am, there will be two Tour Stages 7 & 8, also a number of other handicap & feature races, over & above the Tour Stages 7 & 8. A Grade 800 meters & 10,000 meters points race B Grade 800 meters & 5,000 meters Points race. C Grade 400 meters & 2,000 meters Points race. D Grade 200 meters & 800 Meters. Points System & Overall Grade winners ( In all grades the top 10 score points ) 1st 20 2nd 16 3rd 13 4th 11 5th 9 6th 7 7th 5 8th 3 9th 2 10th 1 Overall points for the 8 stages decide the winners of the grades, with the most points. Posts: 1439 (12/12/09 21:08:53) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi All, The January Australian & New Zealand marathon champs will double up, as the first two Asaianic Inline Cup races in 2010, the Oceania Championships could also double up as an AIC event, Patrajaya the Malaysian Political Capital hat a great 7 km circuit, with 2 grinding up hill segments, with one short testing climb of around 300 to 350 meters. They have booked for the 12th June, so be ideal for Singapore to be on the Sunday prior the 6th June, to a trip to South East Asia where both the neighbouring marathons could be held in the same time span. Part of the course has had new bitumen laid & this would ensure it is the best International standard Marathon course presently in use in the World. Cheers Bill
