With Singapore being one of the Worlds biggest economical hubs,there are many different Nationalities presnt. lets look at some who are likely to front. Max Glazov - has skated for Russia at the World champs in 2006, but now one of the busiest organizors for the sport. Jack - The Frenchman who loves marathons. Sandy Snakenberg USA - Long time skating coach. These are just 3 of them For sure skaters from other countries with a presence who have indicated they will be present at the Singapore opening events include. India. Malaya Hong Kong China Indonesia Australia Philiphines Mingolia Tawan. Korea Macau Bill

Posts: 903 (01/16/09 00:01:06) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi Skaters, The first AIC event will be held on the motor Bike race track on the 7th, but with a much bigger field expeted & an Influx of overseas skaters for the 7th two Alterbative venues are being investigated. 1/ The Changi exibition center & Road, a 3 km & 7 Km option circuits. 2/ Part of the purpose built formula 1 track area. THe Famous USA legend J.L. Larson himself is even welcome to come, as long as he brings along the lovely Denise. LOL Bill

Posts: 922 (01/22/09 00:40:47) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi Big Western Star, At Present its all about getting the standard & numbers up, the Competition Asianic Inline cup will come together, at present, we are looking at Hosts providing the Venue all set up, I will be there to make sure everything runs, we have not set a fee to those stagging the events as yet. It will be up to those hosting the event as to prize money etc, or goods in Kind, of course a richer purse may create more interest, but for Instance some Asian countries do not want prize money. At this stage we have 4 set for Singapore in 2009, 28th February,7th March, 20th June & 4th October. 21/22 nd ZhuHai China, 29th November Disneyland Hong Kong, the 28th February & 7th March are confirmed others likely to be in China & Taiwn, we willhave dates confirmed soon. Our main concern at short notice was to get a competition up and running as soon as possible, 2009 will get us underway. We have to look at costs, no big teams & sponsors are involved Iniatally, just a group of people interested to ensure the sport works in a healthy manner, for Manufacturers, Retailers federations, coaches & Skaters. For 2010 we will be looking for a lot of Oceanic content,during January & February, a big blend of action, to bring many skaters down under & look at reviving the bilitting of skaters to keep costs down, like the old tours. For Instance, we come into Christchurch Have onein Christchurch one day & Timaru the next, then Midweek, Bank track races in Timaru & Christchurch, then the next weekend similar action at say Nelson & Blenheim, similar thing in Australia with say Melbourne & Moe, or Sydney & Canberra, or Brisbane & Gold Coast, but accessable places, if on the east coast while the west coast is way out cost wise, we are trying to do double up weekends in the one trip, to make it worth while. Perhaps West Australia & Indonesia could be a double up, more so than with other Australian venues. But plenty of Action Big Numbers & spreading topsport around, is what it will be all about, plus playing the Tourist card situation as wellfor cold snowed in Europeans. Cheers Bill

Cheers Bill Package charges for AIC (Singapore) Race Dates: 28/02/2009 (Tuas Motor Race Course) 07/03/2009 (F1 Race Course, Marina Bay) Package 1: Fragrance Hostel (6 pax in 1room) Per person/per day: SGD$60.00 ($720 for 12 days) Rooms are available with bunk beds to accommodate 6 persons. Participants will be split into rooms according to male or female. Participants will be allocated to rooms on a first come, first serve basis. Organisers may not be able to accommodate room changes. Package 2: The Fragrance Hotel (2 pax in 1 room) Per person/per day: SGD$80.00 ($960 for 12 days) Rooms are available with either 1 twin bed or 2 single beds. Organisers will not be able to guarantee type of room. Participants are strongly recommended plan their own room-mates. Package 3: The Fragrance Hotel (1 pax in 1 room) Per person/per day: SGD$120.00 ($1440.00 for 12 days) All packages above include clinics with world-renowned speed coach, Mr Bill Beggs. Venue - 850 m car racing track (width 8 to 10 m). Please see attached file for track configuration. Registration charges - SGD 50.00 per race. Please confirm your participation as early as possible. During week between 1st and 2nd stages AIC organizers are planning to run series of training clinics conducted by Bill Begg and Cheryl Begg. Posts: 932 (01/24/09 02:26:21) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi Skaters, As the countdown to Singapore begins, we will keep you informed, as far as points go for the Asianic cup, any placements in the WIC races in Incheon Korea & Suzhou China, will be rewarded as a top class event, with 125 points for the winner, down to 1 pt for 50th. The WIC may have an extra rating for the Asian races to attract European skaters. For the Asianic cup, its in the region, so 125 points for the winner,other AIC races will carry points for the top 20 from 60 points to 1 point. plus also extra Bonus points for the primes & the 500 meter sprints prior to the marathons. When is the Zhu Hai race - March or October? Looks really good - we plan on being there. One minor point - I tried to open the link to the Asia Inline cup - but a financial page (AIC.com) comes up. At present the Lion City Inline cup sight will have info with regards the Singapore events & Max has done a great Job keeping us updated & the Singapore people involved with the company have done a great Job tracking down 4 different venues. The host countries will provide venues & as executive Consultant for the Asianic Inline cup,I will be responsible for overseeing & running the competition. So Sorry for any information delays, but we wanted to get it up & running ASAP, so Singapore has been ready to take off & I pushed for an early start,as talking about it is not good enough,it had to go ahead & in early 2009, not late 2009 or 2010. So looking forward to seeing you there Kim, save a few Holidays for next year as the Oceanic section should come into action in New Zealand & Australia in January 2010, as we go in search of reviving the skating Down under. I see that you are putting people up in the Fragrance Hotel - which one? In Geylang? I have stayed many times in the Fragrance when in Singapore for the weekend skating (up from Jakarta). When you are skating all weekend, why spend tons of money on a hotel that you won't spend much time in. Besides, they weren't thrilled when we skated into the Ritz Carlton there :-)
