The first digging has begun on Arena 09 in Germany. A special lighting engineer has been hired to make the arena uber cool.

As reported elsewhere (if I understand correctly):
This facility is being built next to an existing, popular skate and bike trail, so it's building the interest in a present facility, and adding to it. Development strategy is to first build a banked track, then later add a roof and other enhancements. It's primarily a training facility, with an expert trainer, Scott Arlidge. The track include a camera, movable on a rail around the track, so a skater's movements can be recorded and analyzed continuously. Seating for 3000. |

The construction is going on right now even in the middle of the winter! First the 500 m road course will be ready in April so the athletes based there can train the fast stuff and intervalls!. In the same time the arena will be build with the 200 m banked track, the shop, the showers, the bath rooms, the bistro and a lot more - this will be ready in September if everything goes well. I was looking for a web site, didn't find any. zepto-skate-team.com and zepto.maks.de seem the same, but I don't see facility information on them.
(Perhaps I'm missing something in the German, although much is in English, thanks.) So a link for the track/road facility would be appreciated!
