Too bad to hear the entries till now are a bit on the low side...have you put this out there on any other forums etc??
And I have another idea, the "Breitensport" grades at the Swiss WIC races are made up by about 90% with blokes that would fit directly into this masters champs, skaters who do it for the love and the beer...and the swiss are extremely partial to their summer holidays on hot little islands so why not appeal to them?? Maybe you can get someone to dish some of those flyers you made out at the after party this weekend in Engadin??
I'd hate to see this thing fail before it gets off the ground, I need it to still be around in a decade when I can qualify!

Question about that picture of your kid, does the second symbol from left to right means he is on dope? Are you openly admitting the kid is doped? Because that is what it looks like to me, I don't look at that kind of stuff and think the kid is getting vitamin shots.

P.S. De twee hebben tegenover de politie verklaard dat ze vlak daarvoor door de straatvoetballers geschopt en geslagen zijn. De politie hoort nog getuigen en sluit verdere aanhoudingen niet uit.

De ruzie liep uit de hand toen een voetbal in de tuin van de 46-jarige belandde. De man verwondde een 21-jarige man met een mes. Zijn zoon verwondde een ander met een schaar. De derde voetballer werd geslagen.

Beste bewoner Karrewiel.
Ik ben een van de omliggende kopers en ik ben en voel me meer!
Ik denk niet dat ik meer ben dan een normale huurder. Maar ik ben zeker meer en beter dan een aso, niet opgevoed gezin, kindermishandelaar, schreeuwer, hardrijder in een kinderrijke buurt etc. Het gaat hier niet over Kopers vs. Huurders, al wordt vanuit het Karrewiel deze discussie er vaak bij betrokken. Het gaat hier over normale gezinnen die last hebben van gezinnen die asociaal gedrag vertonen en denken dat ze zich niet aan de regels van de maatschappij hoeven te houden. Overigens wonen er ook van dit soort normale gezinnen in uw straat. Mensen die rekening houden met een ander. Mensen waarmee je normaal een praatje kunt maken. En ik voel me zeker niet beter dan hen.
Laat onverlet dat als het u niet bevalt u gewoon kunt verhuizen. Bij de kopers die graag weg willen door het gedrag van uw straatgenoten werkt dit anders. Mensen komen naar hun huis kijken en vinden alles prachtig maar kopen niet vanwege de omliggende huizen en de achterstandswijk-uitstraling die in uw straat aanwezig is. En ja, ik ben ook van mening dat als je dure huizen neerzet, of dit nu koop of huur is, dat er rekening gehouden dient te worden met wat erin gezet wordt.
Een normale huurder heb ik graag in mijn omgeving. Het enige verschil is aan wie ze maandelijks geld overmaken, de verhuurder of de bank. Maar zoveel asociale gezinnen in een straat werkt niet. Omdat zij denken, anderen doen wat ik doe dus dat zal wel normaal zijn. NIET DUS!!!

I am happy to see Dominique doing so well although disappointed to read that she is "filled with hate". There is so much sport has to offer youngsters. Yes being competative is great but having fun and enjoying it is also important if they ever hope to continue on to the elite level. Cheers Alex

12-year old Harriston skater Paisley Perrie competed in the first of four Ontario Cups in Ottawa this weekend and came out with 7 wins.

It's Perrie's first year as a Juvenile.

Her biggest win, the 1000 meter super final.

Perrie also picked up gold as the anchor for the relay team.

Perrie has competed in both short track and long track speed skating and is hoping to crach the Olympics in the future.

De 13-jarige Dominique Lommers moet haar dagelijkse bezigheden doorgeven aan de dopingautoriteiten, zo melden diverse media vandaag. Ook moet de jonge schaatsster een uur per dag beschikbaar zijn voor dopingcontroles. De Nederlandse dopingautoriteit vertrouwt de 'sociale omgeving' van de jonge schaatster niet en wil daarom dat er whereabouts opgegeven worden. De vader van het meisje vindt het onacceptabel dat zijn dochter gecontroleerd wordt, zijn gezin zou kapot gemaakt worden. Hij heeft een advocaat in de arm genomen en gaat een zaak aanspannen.

Dominique Lommers is de zus van de 15-jarige Wesley Lommers die in februari positief werd getest door de dopingautoriteit. Hij had een te hoge nandrolonwaarde. Op 18 november dient een verzoek bij de tuchtcommissie van de KNSB om de schorsing voorlopig op te heffen.

De VVD stelt vragen aan staatssecretaris Bussemaker van Sport over de strenge dopingcontroles die het nog jonge meisje moet ondergaan. De VVD vindt het overdreven dat schaatstalenten die nog lang niet bij de top horen zo zwaar gecontroleerd worden door de dopingautoriteit.
