Hi skaters,
I will try to write some words in english here, in hope to get an advice from someone, concerning a fault in my skating technique.
Here is my problem:
Two years ago, i´ve learned inline skating and have started my inline-marathon practice on fitness skates with a high-low frame. ( 2x100 mm + 2x 90 mm )
Now, this year i´ve changed on 4x100 mm speedskates and suddenly noticed that i first step on the ground with the heel wheel, before posing the other wheels on the ground for the push! I have worked on this problem, but not with much success.
When i put on my fitness skates, with the high low frame, the problem disappears immediately and i´m able to put all wheels at the same time on the ground before the pushing phase. My question: Should i return skating on a hi-lo frame or continue working on this problem to get a proper skating technique on a 4x100 mm frame? Or is this perhaps a problem that has nothing to do with a hi-lo frame?
I´d like to buy new skates for the next season and now don´t know, which frame is better for me.
I would be very glad to get an advice. . .
