Skate NSW announces the first of a series of skating events, the Sydney Skate Challenge series. The inaugural event, Skate the Lake, is set for December 11, 2005. The series is simular in concept to the massive World Inline Cup events that run throughout Europe, Asia and America can be best described as a fun run on skates. Designed to suit skaters of almost all abilities (you need to be competent to skate for at least 5km) and ages (divisions range from under 12 to over 51), this is your chance to be a part of something new for skating in Sydney. Don¡¯t just sit there and let this opportunity pass by, take action and get involved the more skaters we can get participating in this first event will not only mean that future events can be held at other venues, but that these events can also be bigger and better as well.
