Hi Skaters,
Jorge Bolanos Ecuador won the tough Dijon Marathon class 1 marathon, a great boost for the promising 19 year old Eucador skater & Pan American Games Medalist, who a few weeks earlier in Weinfelden had won a very tough 4 km Hill climb race against a tough International field, made many attacks throughout the race.
At around 4 laps to go he joint French breakaway expert Mattheui Boher RPM Poli & A teamate JulianSouiressou & fellow Frenchman Douchin, as they worked together to stretch the gap, Jorge comfotably winning the sprint from Boher, Souiressou & Douchin. DJ Nation won the Bunch sprint after some very hard solo work during the race, to close down breaks, with the promising German Youngster Felix ( The Cat) Righen adding to his great 1st up WIC season, Julian Despaux 7th Christen DiazGranados 8th, Juan Phillipee Guiteriezz 9th & Adrian Leeman 10th. The others to complete the top 20 & point score were Hascout, Martinez ,Fernandez, Provost, Willie, Wilking, Perkinson, Begg, Sierra & Doring.
In another Double weekend Victory for the Bont house of skating Bolanos used the new 110mm 86A light Red wheels front & back & the 85 A dark reds in the middle, he did not have the advantage of the new Mint 85A high rebound 110mm that first appeared in Incheon in Korea yesterday, as Bont, Cecilia, Nicole, Tamara & Alexandra dominated the ladies race.
